WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLYIf you are the child or grandchild of the member of the New Zealand Defence Force who served in what was known as the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) between 1964 and 1972 then you are eligible to apply for assistance from the Trust. The trustees have accepted that the word 'child' may be taken to include stepchild.While the Trust is titled the 'Ex-Vietnam Services Association (Neville Wallace Memorial) Children's and Grandchildren's Trust' this should not to be taken to imply that membership of EVSA is necessary or even advantageous to the applicant. The sole criteria is service in Vietnam. The trustees will accept up to three separate applications from each eligible person limited to a maximum of one per calendar year. First time applicants will be afforded priority over second and third time applicants. |
